Basant Panchami 2025 :When will Saraswati Puja be celebrated in 2025?

Vasant Panchami, also known as Saraswati Jayanti, marks the birth anniversary of Goddess Saraswati and the arrival of spring. Celebrated on the fifth day of the Hindu month of Magha (January-February), it is considered an auspicious day for seeking wisdom and artistic blessings.



On this occasion, devotees, especially students, worship Maa Saraswati to enhance their knowledge and creativity. The festival is widely observed as Saraswati Puja, with people wearing yellow, decorating their homes with yellow flowers, enjoying festive sweets, and chanting hymns and prayers.
